Ingredients

4 portions

Sausage:

Shop bought sausages

Nutmeg

Zest of one lemon

Shop bought gnocchi (500g)

Sauce:

300ml Cream

Can Chicken stock

Chili Flakes

Juice of 2 lemons

4 cloves garlic

Blue cheese

Fresh Sage

 

Serve with Focaccia

Method

1. Cut open sausages, discard casing.

Grate nutmeg and lemon zest over, mix.

2. Fry sausage in pan, caremelise slightly.

3. Add Garlic, chili flakes, fry for 1 min.

4. Add Gnocchi, fry for 2 mins.

5. Add cream, stock, lemon juice and blue cheese. Cook for 4 – 5 mins.

6. Serve with chopped sage.
